Burgundy, anticipation before exploration

What would YOU look to taste, experience, photograph?

Three more days in anticipation of pinot noir, chardonnay, boeuf bourgignon, oeufs meurette, epoisses, and that long forgotten grape that is still worth searching for …… Aligote. Remember it? But two of us have already set off, en route for Sunday’s Etape du Tour. Good luck Shaz & Michael!

  1. I just watched some bike racing from France the other day on the television. Such a beautiful countryside.

  2. Anticipation is DEFINITELY rising! We can’t wait to explore and taste our way around the Mersault region!
Good luck to Sharon & Michael at the weekend!

    • List a few things you would really like to do and see in the area. Beaune is the centre and large town surrounded by wine villages and vineyards. We will have done lots with M&S first week but we aren’t “tour guides” so need your prompts just as they did

    • Thanks Janice! Very excited for the Etape, full of excitement and anticipation. Then a week in Burgundy will be the luxury icing on the cake. Don’t worry, we will sample as much as we can for you to make sure everything is up to standard! 😂
